Terms of Use

Last Updated: August 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the website, digital portals, or signaling APIs of ErikrafT Drop™ (available at https://drop.erikraft.com or its corresponding mirrors), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and irrevocably agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with or object to any portion of these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using, accessing, or interacting with our web platforms, signaling networks, or associated open-source software extensions.

2. Eligibility

ErikrafT Drop™ is structured for general use by individuals globally. Since we require zero registration, email creation, password input, or user profiling, the web service is broadly accessible. However, if you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian to utilize our platform and accept these terms.

3. Website Purpose

ErikrafT Drop™ serves as a web-based, decentralized, open-source file sharing interface. It empowers users to establish real-time, browser-to-browser WebRTC file connections, streaming files directly between client devices with end-to-end cryptographic encryption. Our servers do not act as data warehouses, virtual storage repositories, or cloud back-ups. We exist exclusively as a transient connection facilitator.

4. Intellectual Property & Branding

While the underlying source code of ErikrafT Drop™ is licensed under the permissive open-source MIT License (allowing modification and redistribution), certain proprietary branding elements, trademark spellings, and graphic configurations are strictly protected:

  • The trademarked spelling "ErikrafT Drop™", brand logos, custom SVGs, and visual dark-glassmorphism design styles are proprietary;
  • No license is granted under these terms to copy, adapt, or spoof the layout, aesthetic brand guidelines, or founder copyrights for competitive commercial redistribution;
  • All original documentation, technical tutorials, FAQ compilations, and copywritten text on our portals are preserved under the maintainer's copyrights.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

By using our platform, you agree to interact with the P2P connection services only for lawful, legitimate purposes. Because we employ an end-to-end encrypted protocol, you possess absolute, exclusive legal responsibility for the contents of the files you choose to stream or accept. You represent and warrant that you hold all essential intellectual property rights, copyrights, permissions, or license consent for any files you transmit over our WebRTC data channels.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You are strictly prohibited from utilizing our signaling architecture, browser extensions, or file streaming systems to:

  • Illicit Content: Share, stream, or distribute illegal pornography, racist propaganda, xenophobic material, terrorist promotion, human rights violations, or Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
  • Infringement: Distribute copywritten media, software licenses, trademarked assets, or proprietary corporate data without explicit owner authorization.
  • System Abuse: Attempt to disrupt our signaling infrastructure, run automated scraping tools, implement malicious scripts (malware, ransomwares), spoof connection protocols, or flood our networks with malicious DDoS attacks.
  • Harassment: Transfer offensive, threatening, or stalking text streams/files to users without their voluntary, affirmative consent.

8. Open Source Software

We are proud of our community foundation. ErikrafT Drop™ operates under open-source structures publicly visible on GitHub at github.com/erikraft/Drop and github.com/erikraft/Drop-Android. Individual repository contributions, branching, self-hosting configurations, or issue tracking are welcome, subject to our code contribution guidelines and licensing rules.

9. PIX QR Code & Donations Disclaimer

Financial & Liability Terms

Our donation utility features a static client-side PIX QR Code generator. Please carefully review the following absolute legal terms:

  • Local Generator Only: The system merely compiles EMV standard payment codes locally inside the user's browser, utilizing the static input values supplied. No financial data traverses our servers.
  • Sole User Responsibility: The donor holds absolute, non-delegable legal responsibility to verify all transaction parameters (beneficiary names, matching bank IDs, and input values) before confirming payments inside their banking application.
  • No Financial Mediation: The website owner and maintainer do not participate in, track, moderate, or process payment transactions. We hold no financial custody or ledger oversight.
  • Legal Status: This website does not act as a bank, financial institution, custodian, payment processor, or legal mediator under Brazilian or international monetary rules.
  • No Warranties on Transfers: There are zero warranties or operational guarantees concerning payments, bank transfers, or network routing established between bank operators.
  • Forbidden Misuse: Any attempt to alter, hack, exploit, spoof, or abuse this donation generator for illegal schemes or fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited.

10. Availability of Service

While we aim to maintain 100% signaling uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of our web networks, signaling channels, extension pairing links, or Discord bot systems. We reserve the absolute right, without prior warning, explanation, or liability, to suspend, terminate, restrict, or modify any portion of our signaling channels or web host platforms to handle maintenance, mitigate security exploits, or manage server overheads.

11. No Warranty (As-Is Basis)

ERIKRAFT DROP™ AND ALL CO-DEPENDENT CODES, SIGNALING NETWORKS, PLATFORMS, DOCUMENTATION, AND UTILITIES ARE SUPPLIED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE, DURABILITY, SECURITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

12. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MAINTAINER, FOUNDERS, REPOSITORY CONTRIBUTORS, OR SYSTEM PROVIDERS OF ERIKRAFT DROP™ BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PRIVATE DATA, SYSTEM DAMAGE, HARDWARE WEAR, FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLIANCE, OR ACCIDENTS ENCOUNTERED DURING P2P FILE TRANSMISSIONS) ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO INTERACT WITH OUR PLATFORM, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH ISSUES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to fully defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ErikrafT, repository contributors, and network system hosts from and against any and all claims, damages, court fees, losses, compliance fines, or liabilities arising directly out of your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms of Use, infringement of intellectual property, or distribution of illicit file contents over our decentralized WebRTC tunnels.

14. Changes to the Website & Terms

We reserve the absolute right to revise, adapt, or update these Terms of Use at any time without notice. By continuing to navigate our website, utilize signaling channels, or engage with client extensions after modifications are posted, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms of Use.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use, legal disclaimers, and your relationship with our platform shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, claim, action, or litigation arising out of or associated with these terms must be instituted solely in the competent courts located in the State of São Paulo, Brazil.

Although this website is operated from Brazil and is primarily subject to Brazilian law, it seeks to follow internationally recognized best practices for privacy, data protection, and information security whenever compatible with applicable law and the nature of the services provided.
